We are pleased to announce that our new publication has been published, showing new oligomeric variants of galectin-8 designed by us, which are characterized by stable fluorescence originating from a special protein framework facilitating controlled oligomerization, GFPpolygons. The galectin-8 variants developed by us are characterized not only by stable fluorescence, but also by oligomeric state-dependent affinity for cell surface glycans. The work was published in the International Journal of Biological Macromolecules (Elsevier).
