Our work has been published in the journal Cell Communication and Signaling (Springer Nature) showing for the first time interactions between galectin members and FHF proteins that take place not on the cell surface but inside it and are independent of glycans (typically required by galectins for interaction). Our results suggest that such interactions may be important in the process of ribosome formation in the cell. Congratulations to Ola and the rest of the team!!!
