Minister of Science Dariusz Wieczorek has appointed twelve new members of the NCN Council. Their term of office will last until December 14, 2028. Among them is prof. dr hab. Ewa Marcinkowska. The NCN Council consists of 24 researchers representing various areas of science and research centers. The tasks of the NCN Council include, among others, determining the disciplines or groups of disciplines within which competitions for the implementation of research projects are announced and conducted, determining priority areas of basic research consistent with the country’s development strategy and determining the amount of financial resources allocated for the implementation of research projects within individual disciplines or groups of disciplines:
