A publication describing the discovery of nanobodies that block galectin-7 has been published in Journal of Medicinal Chemistry (ACS), one of the most prestigious journals in the world specializing in drug discovery (link). The co-authors of the study include Natalia Porębska and Łukasz Opaliński. The work was carried out in collaboration with the team of Prof. Yves St. Pierre from INRS Quebec, Canada. The nanobodies specific to galectin-7 enable the detection of this protein in vivo and may allow for the inhibition of its oncogenic properties.
