Our application for the common project with the group of prof. Jian Qiu from Central South University Hospital in China was awarded funding by NAWA. Within the project we will study the role of FGFR1 in shutting down expression of proteins that may act as tumor suppressors. The project will last two years and will enable bilateral exchange of scientific staff between the involved labs.
